So when TransArmor PCI Compliance software scans for open ports, it finds 61001 open, finds a service running on that port with SSL certificate that is not up to standard in terms of security.īased on what I have read so far, ATT cannot/does not solve this problem. The SSL certificate that is installed on the router is probably very old and weak in terms of security as it uses Ciphers suites that have key-lengths of less than 128 bits. That service uses SSL to connect to ATT backend server to get updated software. UVerse router keeps port 61001 open for updating their router's internal software. Searching on the web, it seem that this is a very common issue with UVerse router and TransArmor/Trustwave/FirstData PCI compliance vendor that many Credit card processor companies use. ![]()
